Pasta: A Dish with Countless Possibilities

13.9.2021.

Pasta is a favorite dish in homes around the world and is available in many shapes, sizes, and variants. It belongs to the group of diverse foods, it is easy to prepare, and it combines perfectly with almost every possible ingredient. If you don’t overdo it with ingredients rich in fats such as butter, cream, and cheese, your meal will be low in calories and low in fat.

The culture of enjoying pasta began with our dear Italian neighbors although legend has it that—as modern as they are—pasta was actually imported from China. Either way, the Italians welcomed pasta with open hearts and, throughout history, introduced us to some of the finest specialties. Since they had a huge influence on Croatian cuisine, some of the variants that we consider autochthonous were created in our country. Mlinci, fuži, pljukanci, kapanci and wide noodles are products we are extremely proud of. Today, pasta is a specialty in almost all world cuisines, and this proven classic can be prepared as an appetizer, main course, or as a salad.

Easy as 1, 2, 3

The preparation of pasta is not demanding, which makes it ideal for quick lunches and dinners. There are a few golden rules to follow, such as a large enough pot, plenty of water, plenty of salt, and occasional stirring. And, ecco!, you prepared the perfect pasta.

The Tastiest Bet

Our guests love to eat good pasta, and we enjoy preparing it. Chef Mićo has proven to be a true master in delighting your palates, so he bravely made a bet that the pasta he prepares will be the best you have ever tasted. He leaves nothing to chance and therefore prepares two types. Seafood fans will be captivated by the aroma and flavors of pasta with scampi and shrimps, and for all those who still like a good piece of meat, there is richly flavored pasta with royal steak and Mozzarella di Bufala. Pair irresistible flavors with a glass of good wine from our rich wine selection and thus bring your dinner to a climax.

Which pasta will you choose tonight? Our chef is looking forward to your reply!
